With the legislative session just around the corner on Wednesday, February 7th, I am committed to keeping you informed and engaged in the democratic process.

The last month has been busy around the district as we gear up for the next legislative session, which gavels in on Wednesday, February 7th. It has been a busy end to 2023 and I look forward to an ambitious 2024. Here are some highlights from the last few months.

I wanted to share some updates happening in our district. The fall has been quite eventful, and let's take a look at some of the highlights.

The State Bond Commission has approved $269,652 to purchase a new transport ambulance for KB Ambulance's tri-town cooperative.

I want to share some upcoming events happening this month in the 50th District. 

As your representative in Hartford, I wanted to keep you updated on the latest happenings at the Capitol.

After weeks of holding public hearings, the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee and Appropriations Committee approved their budget proposals.

The CGA has been in session since January 5th and is hard at work. This "long" session runs until the second week in June (which differs from a "short" session that goes from February to May). Our primary task is to adopt a 46-billion-dollar biennial state budget.
