The Coronavirus (COVID-19) scenario changes rapidly. Please visit ct.gov/Coronavirus for latest updates. The website is updated regularly with the state's response to COVID-1. It also includes the latest figures on testing for the virus and the locations where patients have turned up positive. And the Centers for Disease Control has a wealth of information about the virus on its website.

In an effort to control the spread of the Coronavirus, health experts are offering recommendations to help keep us more safe. One of the top priorities is Social Distancing.

Due to current public health concerns of the coronavirus spreading in the state, the bipartisan transportation forum that was scheduled for next Wednesday, March 18 at New Canaan Town Hall has been POSTPONED.

Governor Ned Lamont declared a public health emergency and a civil preparedness emergency in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is still developing. Our state leaders will be providing more updates as they become available, but in the meantime, be sure to take necessary precautions that have been shared over the last few weeks to take care of your health and protect others.

I will be co-hosting a bipartisan transportation forum on Wednesday, March 18, together with Senator Will Haskell (D-Bethel/New Canaan/Redding/Ridgefield/Weston/Westport/Wilton), Senator Alex Kasser (D-Greenwich/New Canaan/Stamford), Representative Tom O’Dea (R-New Canaan/Wilton), as well as New Canaan's First Selectman, Kevin Moynihan and Transportation Commissioner Joseph Giulietti.

Today, I joined my Insurance and Real Estate Committee Chairs Rep. Sean Scanlon and Sen. Matt Lesser held a press conference to unveil our agenda to reform mental health care in the 2020 legislative session. We heard from grieving families who have lost loved ones to mental illness and how vital it is for insurance companies to understand that everyone needs access to the best possible treatment to effectively combat it.

I will be giving a brief legislative update on Environmental issues followed by a screening of 'The Devil We know', Wednesday, 26 7PM at the Rowayton Library. The event is co-sponsored by Norwalk Land Trust, Norwalk Tree Alliance, and Rowayton Gardeners as part of the Our Earth, Your Call environmental series.
