Election Day is Next Tuesday
November 1, 2024Reminder - Election Day will be on Tuesday, November 5. CT residents will have the option to vote early through through Sunday, November 3. The polling locations will be open from 10 AM - 6 PM. The polls will be open from from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month
September 27, 2024Of course Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates Hispanic culture, but it also honors the positive impact and lasting contributions made by generations of our growing Hispanic population to our country.
National Hispanic Heritage Month began as a week-long celebration in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded to a month by President Ronald Reagan 20 years later in 1988. It currently runs from September 15th thru October 15th.
Funding for Norwalk
September 27, 2024Norwalk is set to receive state funding from the Community Investment Fund (CIF). The CIF Board approved the funding during its meeting on Tuesday. The Carter Community Center is set to receive $3.5 million, and South Norwalk Elementary School will receive $2.5 million.
