Paid Sick Days, Child and Family Support, and more
May 31, 2024I had the great opportunity to attend the Pre - Memorial Day Candlelight Vigil. This was such a memorable event in which they honored men and women who lost their lives fighting for our country and to support our veterans and those currently on active & reserve duty. What a great honor to be present and hear from many individuals about loved ones that made and make a huge impact in our community.
Memorial Day, Vets Bill, and more
May 24, 2024Monday is Memorial Day, a day to remember and honor all whose bravery and service cost them the ultimate sacrifice. While this long weekend presents the opportunity to spend time with our loved ones, it is also a time to pause and reflect on those who gave their lives to protect and preserve our great nation and democracy. I also make sure to take the time to remind myself to live a life that is meaningful and worthy of the sacrifices so many have made. I hope you all have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Supporting Our Veterans, Bills Passed, and more
May 3, 2024This week we passed one of the greatest bills I've voted for. A 100% Tax Exemption Bill for 100% disabled rating veterans in Connecticut. This bill is beneficial because it acknowledges and appreciates the sacrifices these veterans have made for their country.
