November Special Session Sees CT House Pass Bills on Housing, Emergency Reserves, and More
November 14, 2025On Wednesday, the CT House of Representatives was called into a special session to address several pressing issues, including addressing the state's housing crisis, approving an emergency response fund to address federal funding cutbacks, safeguarding immigrants within the confines of a courthouse, children's behavioral health, and more. The House passed the bills on Wednesday, and the Senate took them up on Thursday.

November 12, 2025The Connecticut Foodshare's monthly distribution at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Stratford took place on Monday, November 10. State Representatives Kaitlyn Shake and Joe Gresko joined the Stratford Health Department, Medical Reserve Corps, Stratford YMCA Volunteers, and additional resident volunteers to help Connecticut Foodshare provide food and resources to the Stratford community.
