Coffee with Governor Lamont at Ross Bread
March 17, 2023I had a great time at the "Grab a Coffee" event at Ross Bread with Governor Lamont and Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz .
We spent time chatting with constituents about legislative items like House Bill 5001, a bill that would give more resources to persons with an intellectual or developmental disability, long-term environmental legislation, and local traffic and pedestrian safety.
One of my favorite parts of the job is talking with constituents about issues that matter to them and reflecting on how I can bring their concerns back to Hartford. I always look forward to these events because am inspired by those wanting to make Ridgefield a better place for everyone.
National Read Across America Day
March 2, 2023What fun returning to my old job and my kids’ old elementary school to read to these awesome kids! So many great questions from the students, and a really fun conversation about how government works, inspired by our book, “Sofia Valdez, Future Prez”, written by Andrea Beatty. Thank you, RPS for giving me the chance to get back to a place and activity I love so much.
