Connecticut’s Town Aid Road (TAR) grant program is growing, rising from $60 million to $80 million in the new state budget.

Of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the September 11, 2001, attacks, 161 had ties to Connecticut. On this solemn anniversary, we reflect on the tragic events of 9/11 and honor every life taken. Their loved ones are in our hearts on this difficult day.

Route 15 Northbound at Exit 36 in Stratford is the site of the second wrong-way driver detection system. The CTDOT will start installing it on Monday.

I wanted to share a brief update on the Rte. 113 sinkhole and the work that's currently underway.

Work is progressing on the Rte. 113 sinkhole on Burma Road. The estimated completion time for reopening the road is mid-October.
