January 30, 2020The 2020 Legislative Session is set to begin on February 5. Pursuant to our state constitution, during the "short session" in the even-numbered years, the General Assembly is only in session from February to early May, and our scope is limited in terms of the volume and the subject matter of legislation. However, there are still many important issues to address and I'd like to know your views on the most pressing issues facing our state.

As I reflect on 2019 and look forward to 2020, I am grateful to you that I am able to represent our community and I look forward with optimism to what we can accomplish in the New Year. The 2020 legislative session will begin on February 5. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on the issues facing our state. To that end, I will be holding two events next week and I hope to see you there.
