Session Update, MHS RedHawks Visit the Capitol, and more

It has been a busy week in the House culminating with the passage of HB 6990 on Thursday evening, a priority bill from the Banking Committee which will help law enforcement recover assets for victims of cryptocurrency fraud scams.

Budget Town Hall Event, Waste Management Grant for Manchester and more

I hope you'll join me and my legislative colleagues from Manchester and East Hartford for an interactive budget discussion next Tuesday, April 22 from 6-7:30pm at the Great Path Academy common room (60 Bidwell, Manchester).

The budget is one of the most important responsibilities given to the legislature, and I want you to be part of the process! I hope to see you there!

Homes for CT, Special Education Funding, and more

Last week, I was proud to be joined by my colleagues including Speaker of the House Matt Ritter and Majority Leader Rojas, and representatives from the banking, homebuilding, and realtors associations, to come out in support of HB 6992: An Act Establishing the Homes for CT Loan Program.

The bill establishes the "Homes for CT" loan program, which incentivizes the production of housing units for Connecticut residents.
