The House of Representatives was in session six times during the past two weeks, and we debated and voted on a number of noteworthy bills during that time, including HB 6667, which is the most comprehensive update to Connecticut's gun violence statutes since the historic reforms we passed after the Sandy Hook tragedy.

There are nine days left to apply for the 2022 Connecticut Child Tax Payment! If you have a child born before January 1, 2022 and are a single parent who earned less than $100,000 or a two-parent household who earned less than $200,000 during the 2021 tax year, you are eligible for a child tax payment of $250 per child, up to three children.
