Thanksgiving is Thursday, and the holiday kicks off with more than 11,000 runners competing at the 88th Manchester Road Race at 10 a.m.!

The race starts and ends on Main Street in Manchester. If you're interested in running, you can still register online at manchesterroadrace.com until tonight at 11:59 p.m.

A number of new laws that were passed during the 2024 legislative session will go into effect on October 1.

Several new laws that address many issues aimed at improving our great state become effective today.

Please join me and the entire Manchester Delegation in the Connecticut General Assembly for a Legislative Town Hall on Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Whiton Branch Library.

Last week, the Town of Manchester was awarded $3.5 million from the Community Investment Fund 2030 for our new downtown library project!

When the Connecticut General Assembly was in session on February 14, the House and Senate unanimously approved $17 million in additional cold weather heating assistance funds so many residents and families, who receive assistance through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) or Operation Fuel, will have access to funds to ensure they can heat their homes through the cold weather season.
