Urban Praises OK Of Crumb Rubber Ban

Recycled tires, known as crumb rubber, contain a dozen carcinogens and at least 20 lung irritants. Rep. Diana Urban's legislation to ban the use of crumb rubber on playground surfaces has been approved by the Planning and Development Committee and now goes to the floor of the House of Representatives.
