April 22, 2016This week the House of Representatives passed legislation to allow limited use of medical marijuana for children. I’m proud to support this legislation, HB 5450, which will help children with serious medical conditions.

April 22, 2016On Wednesday, I was proud to bring out a bill which will allow for the limited use of medical marijuana (non-smokable forms) for children with serious medical conditions, such as epilepsy or cerebral palsy. HB 5450, An Act Concerning The Palliative Use of Marijuana, passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 129-13.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month
April 7, 2016I'm glad I was able to join Sen. Mae Flexer and Rep. Caroline Simmons to highlight Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). I spoke about my involvement with the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence's 'Where Do You Stand?' program to engage Connecticut men in being active in the prevention of sexual violence in their communities.
Preserving Funds For Danbury, Hospitals

AIDS Project Greater Danbury
March 28, 2016Rep. Bob Godfrey meets with representatives of the Aids Project Greater Danbury to discuss legislative issues. Founded in 1987, AIDS Project Greater Danbury advocates for and provides services to people living with HIV/AIDS as well as their families and loved ones while actively promoting AIDS education, prevention and awareness in western Connecticut and beyond.
New Legislation to Combat Opioid Addiction
