I want to inform you of two bills pertaining to the Dept. of Transportation's tree-cutting and sound management that will receive a public hearing on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM before the Transportation Committee.

Monday evening, Representatives McCarthy Vahey, Keitt, Senator Hwang, and I were happy to host Marissa Gillett, the Chairman of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA), and Bob Wall, the Chair of Sustainable Fairfield, for our forum on electric rates.

What an eventful week it's been! I'm so happy to have so much to share with you.

I wanted to highlight some of the work happening at the Capitol. In addition to highlighting one of the bills I've co-introduced, I've also included information regarding our Pints and Policy event, the Women Owned Business Equity Match Grant being offered, and information about an event hosted by United Illuminating and Southern Connecticut Gas Company to discuss energy saving opportunities.
