From my family to yours, I want to take a moment to send my best wishes for the holiday season. May it bring you and your loved ones peace, happiness and time well spent together. Remember that no matter how we celebrate, we also share many blessings. So, in the spirit of the season, please spread the joy that makes this time of the year truly special.

The legislative session is just around the corner, starting on January 8, and now is the perfect time to share your ideas for laws that can make a real difference in our community. Please contact me with bill proposals on any topic including education, healthcare, energy costs, public safety, or another issue you care deeply about. Your input helps shape your priorities for the upcoming session and represents an opportunity to have your voice heard!

This weekend is the 12th anniversary of the Sandy Hook massacre.

A date that never gets easier. So many lives were affected on this day in 2012, and many continue to struggle with the trauma that followed.

My thoughts are with the victims' families, the survivors of that horrible day, the responding law enforcement and the entire Newtown and Connecticut community. Though time has passed, you will never be forgotten.

I wanted to start off by announcing that I have been appointed as House Chair of Connecticut's Education Committee!

I am so honored to be trusted with this role. It is an enormous responsibility and privilege to serve in this capacity to lift up the voices of our state’s children, educators, and families. I am deeply committed to furthering our state’s educational opportunities and academic excellence for every child.

I would like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! While we live in a time with forces that often try to distance us from one another, I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Representing our beautiful community at our state's Capitol is an honor that I don't take for granted.

I hope this Thanksgiving, your day is filled with warmth and moments of gratitude surrounded by loved ones.

Connecticut’s Native communities have shaped our state’s heritage and continue to lead efforts in cultural preservation, education, and advocacy.

Native American Heritage Month is a time to honor and learn about the cultures, traditions, and histories of Indigenous peoples and celebrate their enduring legacies.

To help ease that struggle, the Fairfield Ludlowe High School boys & girls lacrosse programs are hosting the 17th Annual Sticks for Soldiers Thanksgiving Lacrosse Classic on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Monday, November 11 is Veterans Day.

Those who live in freedom will always be grateful to those who helped preserve it. This Veterans Day, to all those who have served and their families, thank you for all you have done for our country. 🇺🇸
