New Laws Effective Oct. 1
September 29, 2022This weekend, several new laws in Connecticut will go into effect on October 1. These laws are a result of my colleagues' hard work during the 2022 session. Below are just some of the laws that will take effect and what they mean for you.
REP. GRESKO APPLAUDS COMMUNITY INVESTMENT FUND BOARD'S APPROVAL OF STRATFORD APPLICATION
September 29, 2022State Representative Joseph P. Gresko (D-Stratford) is applauding the Community Investment Fund 2030 (CIF) Board following Tuesday's meeting and approval of a $1.6 million state grant for the Town of Stratford to mitigate flooding along Bruce Brook.
Attention: Water Main Break in Stratford
September 28, 2022I wanted to be sure you were aware of a water main break on N. Abram Street in Stratford resulting in an unscheduled outage. The outage began around 10AM this morning, September 28 and is expected to take 4-6 hours to resolve.

September 20, 2022State Rep. Joseph Gresko, a Democrat, represents the neighborhood where Sikorsky Airport is located and helped to obtain the $1 million for the air and space center.
"Look, it's a built-in gem," Gresko said of the museum. "If it was me (we) would promote it, embrace it, celebrate that it's there. Stratford has arguably one of the best aviation histories and reputations not only in the country but, arguably, the world, so you would want to highlight that as a draw for your airport."

Energy Assistance Program Applications Opening Sept. 1
August 31, 2022The application period for the 2022-2023 winter season of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) will open on Thursday, September 1. As colder days approach, this program supports vulnerable Connecticut residents - both homeowners and renters - with the costs of heating their homes.
