I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Labor Day Weekend! America is great - Connecticut is great - because of our working families. The fight for decent working conditions, family time, and a living wage began and continues with workers. Workers literally built our country into a world leader. Their accomplishments are what we're celebrating.

Connecticut's annual Sales Tax-Free Week begins on Sunday, August 17, and runs through Saturday, August 23. It provides a chance to save money, whether it is taking the kids back-to-school shopping or treating yourself or your loved ones.

The Purple Heart is more than a medal. It’s a symbol of sacrifice, resilience, and unshakable courage. As a Navy veteran I salute my comrades-in-arms who shed their blood for us. Today and every day, we remember and honor those who gave so much in service to our nation.

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) released their annual Environmental Scorecard for the 2025 session. The scorecard gives state legislators a score based on their support of environmental priorities each year.

Great news! Tarrywile Park in Danbury will receive $63,026 in state funding to construct a community garden.

The legislative session wrapped up last month. My colleagues and I were able to craft, debate, and pass several great bills that will benefit all residents, young and old.

It's been a very good year for Danbury. We're returning a record amount of dollars to fund our public schools, roads, and many non-profits. I've sent a sperate messages with the details.
