Free Youth Admissions to CT Museums Return this Summer
June 30, 2022The Connecticut Summer at the Museum program is returning for the 2022 summer season. Starting Friday, July 1, all children and one accompanying adult will receive free admission to over 90 museums across Connecticut. This program will be offered through September 6th to all Connecticut children, ages 18 and under.
Dog License Application Due June 30
June 30, 2022Reminder - all East Hartford residents to license their dogs by today, June 30, if they have not done so yet. By state statute, all dogs in the State of Connecticut six (6) months or older must be licensed each year during the month of June in the town where they reside.
New Laws Effective July 1
June 29, 2022A number of new laws that my colleagues and I worked on during the 2022 legislative session to implement meaningful change in our state will take effect in Connecticut on July 1, 2022.

East Hartford Town Offices Closed July 4th
June 27, 2022All East Hartford town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed Monday, July 4, 2022, in observance of Independence Day.
East Hartford Farmers’ Market Returns July 8
June 21, 2022The Town of East Hartford is excited to announce that the annual farmers’ market will begin Friday, July 8th.
Cruisin’ East Hartford Car Show Returns
June 18, 2022Spectators and car enthusiasts are invited to the Cruisin' East Hartford Car Show on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1 – 4 p.m. We are excited to be returning this year’s car show back to Sunset Ridge Middle School, 450 Forbes Street, East Hartford, CT 06118.
East Hartford Library to Host Art Show
June 17, 2022On Saturday, July 16 from 1 – 4 PM, the work of local artists will be displayed on the Brewer House lawn.
