Town Offices Closed for Christmas & New Year’s Holidays
December 19, 2022All town offices, including the East Hartford transfer station, will be closed Monday, December 26, 2022 in observance of Christmas Day. All town offices will reopen on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.
CareerConneCT Expands Intake Portal

The goal of CareerConneCT is to provide underemployed and unemployed Connecticut residents with resources and training necessary for the pursuit of a well-paying, high-quality career path. The program provides free job training, case management, supportive services, and employment assistance.
Paul Bisaccia Holiday Fest Concert
November 30, 2022The East Hartford Commission on Culture & Fine Arts presents pianist Paul Bisaccia and “Home for the Holidays in East Hartford!”, on Saturday, December 3 at two o’clock in the afternoon at First Church, 837 Main Street, as part of the Town’s Holiday Fest. The performance is free; we ask that you bring a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank. You can also buy a $2.00 Holiday Fest Button to support the Food Bank.
Town of East Hartford Announces Community Toy Drive
November 23, 2022To help brighten the holiday season for children in our community, the Town of East Hartford is conducting a community toy drive. Donations will be used to help our Social Services Division and Police Department fulfill toys for kid’s programs for East Hartford residents.
