Working for the 57th District
January 20, 2022As you know, the work of a legislator does not stop when session ends. I spend most of my time during the week attending meetings and advocating for legislation that will positively impact the 57th district. Below is a list of the events I attended over the past two weeks.
CT Distributes Masks and At Home Tests
January 20, 2022On Monday, Governor Lamont announced that three million self-tests and six million N-95 masks will be distributed beginning Thursday, December 30. These supplies will be given to municipalities as well as K-12 schools.
One Year as a Legislator
January 6, 2022One year ago today, I was officially sworn in as your State Representative. 2021 was another unpredictable year, but I am proud of everything I was able to achieve during session as well as during the off season.
2021 - A Year in Review
December 31, 2021As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment and reflect on some the accomplishments of 2021. As a first time representative, there was a lot to learn about the process. However, I did not let that stop me from advocating for you every step of the way. I pushed for legislation that would benefit the 57th District in committee and on the floor.

December 29, 2021I have received more information on how the masks and at home tests allocated to our district will be distributed.
At Home Testing Kit Update
December 29, 2021The shipment of tests kits that were set to arrive in Connecticut have been delayed. It is unclear if distributions will occur as planned, but I will make sure to provide an update as soon as we have more information.
Upcoming Office Hours
December 28, 2021In anticipation of the upcoming legislative session, I am hosting a series of office hours to listen to any suggestions, questions or concerns from residents of the 57th district. There will be three, subject specific sessions. Please check out the links below to register.
CT Paid Family Leave Update
December 2, 2021I am pleased to announce that Connecticut's landmark Paid Family and Medical Leave Program applications are now being accepted for Connecticut residents who want to participate in the state’s program. Claims are being accepted for qualifying events that are happening on or after January 1, 2022.
