Of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the September 11, 2001, attacks, 161 had ties to Connecticut. On this solemn anniversary, we reflect on the tragic events of 9/11 and honor every life taken. Their loved ones are in our hearts on this difficult day.

Local veterans - please join me and a panel of guests at a listening session in Ellington. The event seeks to gather input on pressing issues important to veterans, discuss legislation that passed in the 2025 legislative session, and discuss the implications of recent federal policy changes.
