Governor Ned Lamont, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff and executives from AT&T held a news conference in Norwalk to announce the launch of a new public-private partnership that will allow for the deployment of cutting-edge technology along the New Haven Line. AT&T’s network enhancements will provide 4G LTE service, which the company can upgrade, via software, to 5G in the future. I salute the governor's plan to improve our transportation infrastructure and WiFi connectivity.

These projects will enhance commerce, expand affordable housing and provide services for some of the most vulnerable in our communities. I want to thank Governor Lamont for prioritizing these important projects for Hartford in this round of bonding.
