I am proud to have joined with the Bridgeport Delegation in support of a competitive process for any expansion of casino gaming in Connecticut.

The Student Manufacturer Connection Fair will take place on April 24th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the state Capitol.

The Bridgeport Delegation testified jointly before the Public Safety and Security Committee in support of legislation that seeks to establish a Connecticut Gaming Commission and create a competitive bidding process for a resort-casino at a public hearing Tuesday afternoon.

I testified in the Labor Committee in support of a bill I introduced to expand labor law protections to domestic workers that comprise a significant amount of the workforce in “informal” employment; these employees are among the most vulnerable.
