In its first full year, Connecticut's "nickel-per-nip" program has generated over $4.2 million for municipalities throughout the state.

Recently I've received several inquiries about the SHW/Farrel Foundry site redevelopment on the corner of Main and North Main Street in Ansonia. I wanted to provide you with an update on this project, which has received significant state funding for environmental clean-up, demolition, and transit-oriented development.

As part of the state's efforts to reduce in-person visits and wait times at DMV offices, the DMV website will provide more streamlined services and more online service options for residents.

The U.S. Department of Education has implemented temporary changes to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program rules that make it easier for federal student loan borrowers to receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify for forgiveness. These changes end on October 31, 2022. After this date, normal PSLF rules will apply.
