Connecticut-based Dalio Education recently released a report it commissioned that focused on "disconnected and at-risk youth" and found more than 63,000 young adults were disconnected, and 56,000 students were at risk between 2021 and 2022, according to the compiled data.

I'm thrilled to share that Ansonia will be receiving $9.2 million in state funds for multiple projects from the State Bonding Commission!

Today I attended a policy convening at the White House on child care with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and members of the Biden Administration. I am humbled beyond belief for this invitation, where we focused discussion on three major areas: affordability, access, and workforce.

We are working hard to finalize bill language, build consensus to advance important proposals, and craft a budget as the legislative session intensifies. I am also proud to share that after much planning and coordination, this week I hosted a Students → Manufacturers Fair at the Capitol.

I'm thrilled to share that $272,000 in state funds are being awarded to the 104th for the Ansonia Riverwalk! These state funds, administered through the Connecticut Recreational Trail Program, will be used for planning and design on the existing paved trail along the Naugatuck River Greenway.
