June 6, 2022I am heartbroken by the horrors that occurred at Robb Elementary School and I am furious because it didn’t have to be this way. We are so far beyond “enough”. We are in the depths of outrage that as a nation we have failed so spectacularly to take common-sense steps, that a vast majority of Americans agree on, to keep our children from being gunned down in their schools.
Great Economic News for Fairfield & CT
May 24, 2022Connecticut currently has a $4.8 billion budget surplus and a $3.1 billion rainy day fund. The historic budget adjustment package we passed in the legislative session promotes financial responsibility and makes meaningful investments in our community.

Historic Tax Cuts in State Budget
May 9, 2022After months of negotiation and hearing input from residents across our state, I am happy to pass along great news. The House of Representatives passed a $24 billion state budget adjustment package which provides $600 million in tax relief for working families.
