April 18, 2024Four years ago, Mrs. Joan Robb's third-grade class at Dwight Elementary School in Fairfield started a mission to make the lollipop Connecticut's state candy. They wrote letters to legislators & some even testified, including Jacqueline Glick and Amelia Neubauer. The now-sixth graders have continued to advocate for this bill. I'm happy to share that HB 5304 passed in the House recently 128-18-5! Now it moves to the Senate for consideration.
