Free flu shots are available for children 18 and younger on Saturday, January 27^th at a flu clinic in Stratford.

Stratford has been awarded a “Complete Streets” $450,000 grant from the State of Connecticut to complete the technical design for improvements along a portion of Main Street and Barnum Avenue, south of East Broadway.

I am very happy Housatonic River dredging is completed. This project was important to Rep. Terry Backer and it is important to me.

Bridgeport’s plan to become the first U.S. city to establish a municipal low-temperature thermal heating district has taken a giant leap forward, following passage of Connecticut’s bipartisan state budget.

Connecticut families, currently on the waitlist, can start enrolling in the Care 4 Kids program, the state’s primary child care support program.

Sterling House is an incredible asset to our community, serving young people with athletic programs, pre-school and after school programs. The state provides two grants for the Sterling House project.
