A number of new laws will take effect in Connecticut at the start of the new year. My colleagues and I worked hard during the 2021 legislative session to listen to your concerns and advocate for meaningful change in our state. We look forward to getting back to the Capitol soon to continue in those efforts.

Grateful to Governor Lamont and the State Bond Commission for approving critical funding today for the Gallaher Mansion and Norwalk YMCA. Proud to work with our Norwalk legislative delegation to secure these funds.

The State Bond Commission is expected to approve funding for the Norwalk YMCA and Gallaher Mansion next week, December 21.

Connecticut's landmark Paid Family and Medical Leave Program applications are now being accepted for Connecticut residents who want to participate in the state’s program. Claims are being accepted for qualifying events that are happening on or after January 1, 2022.

From now until December 15, small businesses in Connecticut can obtain group health insurance regardless of the number of employees who enroll thanks to Access Health CT's Employee Participation Waiver Period.

Next Monday, November 15, I will be co-hosting a panel discussion on the Transportation and Climate Initiative Program (TCI) – a historic effort collaboration to cap and reduce greenhouse gases (GHGs) from the transportation sector and accelerate investments in an equitable, cleaner, and more resilient transportation system for Connecticut and the region.
