The Angel of Edgewood Back to School Extravaganza was a big success.

I am happy to report that the Hartford Legislative Delegation was able to increase our state aid by roughly $25 million next fiscal year.

The fight against systemic racism in housing has been long and it is still ongoing. I am very proud to say that my family has been working for change for more than seven decades.

Speaker of the House Matt Ritter (D-Hartford) announced the State is investing $7 million to improve Farmington Avenue in Hartford.

I am so happy to announce that $10 million was included in the recently approved state budget for the revitalization of Batterson Park.

I was so proud to work with the General Assembly’s Black and Puerto Rican Caucus to develop the Community Investment Fund 2030, a 10 year/$2.5 billion-plus investment in historically underserved and marginalized communities.
