Connecticut’s dairy farms are small, family-owned businesses that support local jobs and provide fresh, nutritious food to communities across our state.

Whether it's our first responders, veterans, nurses, teachers, or other skilled workers, it is important that we continue to invest in and protect the people who keep our communities safe and running.

Lowering costs as well as improving reliability and access to renewable energy programs, such as solar, for state residents is an ongoing goal for the legislature.

Bipartisan state budget adjustments were passed by the legislature that make historical investments in our cities and towns to help stabilize property taxes and enhance local public education.

Elections are the foundation of our democracy, and updating voting laws are critical to both encouraging increased voter participation and protecting the ballot process from outside corrupt forces.

Applications are now open for a state program created by the legislature that provides reimbursements to eligible renters.

We are glad to see the state continuing to invest in buying locally grown products from Connecticut farms to help food insecure families.
