I was expecting to see a full house at Beth El Temple in West Hartford Wednesday for the Community Rally against Hate: Standing Together Against Anti-Semitism. The crowd was swelling before the event started, poor weather conditions and all.

During a special session Wednesday I voted to approve an agreement between the State of Connecticut and the Connecticut Hospital Association, ending a dispute over tax and Medicaid reimbursement rates that has been hanging over us for the better part of a decade.
