January 4, 2024Connecticut is offering a wonderful new program that will make applying for higher education much easier - and less expensive - for graduating high school students. The Connecticut Automatic Admission Program allows students who meet certain criteria to be automatically admitted to several Connecticut colleges and universities by filling out a single application form, free of charge!
Hurricane Lee Weather Preparedness and Safety
November 14, 2023The Town of East Hartford is closely monitoring the approaching Hurricane Lee. The majority of the storm will pass safely to the east of Connecticut. Lee has begun to weaken and maximum sustained winds are diminishing.

CT's Presidential Primary Moved Up by Four Weeks
September 28, 2023Connecticut was lost in the forest at the end of the presidential primary season. During Tuesday’s Special Session, we took this bipartisan proposal and moved the state's presidential primary up by four weeks. This means the presidential primary will occur on the first Tuesday in April.
