The non-partisan Office of Legislative Research recently published the 2020 Major Issues report, which summarizes key issues the legislature could take up during the upcoming session.

As we bring 2019 to a close, I wanted to say thank you again for all your support throughout the year! That support will be the fuel I use to get more done in 2020 when it comes to the issues that matter to you.

I am pleased to report our fiscally responsible approved budget is getting results and the credit agencies are noticing.

I will be joining Senator Bob Duff for an Office Hour event today, Thursday, December 12th in the Atrium of Norwalk Community College from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.

I was delighted to join with colleagues, school and local officials to announce plans for a new Norwalk High School that will be 80% funded by the state of Connecticut.

Costs for generic drugs have been going up recently causing a financial hardship and health risk for many people. As the Vice Chair of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee, I have been working on legislation to address this issue. On Tuesday, December 17, I will co-host a generic drug forum with my area colleagues, our Attorney General and others.
