Legislation that I authored concerning tree trimming and removal work performed by utility companies has gained important committee approval and moves to the House for action.

I have authored a bill that will further protect the State’s tree canopy from unnecessary pruning and removal in our cities and towns and on state roads.

The State Bond Commission approved funding Friday Jan. 29, totaling $1,615,000 for renovations and upgrades for a number of Hamden schools.

Congratulations to West Woods School and everyone involved in highlighting the school’s new playground that is well deserved for all the students.

I am pleased to have been recognized by the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV) for my 100% support of environmental legislation during the 2015 legislative session.
