Dame Dash Visits Norwalk, More Funding for Norwalk Public Schools
October 27, 2023Earlier this week, I joined hip hop icon Dame Dash at Nathan Hale Middle School in Norwalk. Dame talked to the students about what it means to start and run a business, and I discussed the importance of democracy and the legislative process. It was an incredible opportunity, and I hope it had a positive impact on the students who attended.
Funding for Norwalk Public Schools & NAACP of Norwalk Freedom Dinner

Norwalk Public Schools has been awarded a $15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education Magnet Schools Assistance Program! These funds will be utilized to enhance the educational experiences at three of our esteemed institutions: Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy, Kendall College and Career Academy, and P-TECH Norwalk.
