The East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department has announced closing dates of all outdoor pools and modified pool hours beginning Monday, August 9:

Effective today, August 2, the Town of East Hartford is reinstituting face mask requirements for all employees and visitors regardless of their vaccination status

The House was in session on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were able to debate and pass several important pieces of legislation. Below is a list of the bills that were passed.

While the 2021 legislative session faced unprecedented challenges and obstacles, I brought the concerns of our community to Hartford and advocated for legislation that will directly benefit East Hartford.

The 2021 Regular Legislative Session ended a few minutes before midnight on Wednesday. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we have been able to accomplish as we all learned new and unprecedented ways to stay connected with each of you.

Local businesses are at the heart of every community in Connecticut, but sadly over the past year, they have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19. While a number of great loan and grant programs have been established and implemented to provide aid, many small businesses missed out due to the sheer demand for assistance.
