We are in mid-November and warm temperatures, particularly for this time of year, are ahead of us for the next few days.

I hope you're enjoying some of the beautiful weather we've experienced the past couple of days. This is as good a time as any to thank you for your support on Election Day.

Happy November! October flew by, and I hope you had a happy and safe Halloween.

I am proud to include great news about millions in funding coming to the area for projects in Groton, New London, and Stonington.

Early voting begins on Monday for the November 5th election on all levels. It's the first time we're doing it in Connecticut, too. You will have 14 days to vote now.

This Saturday I am hosting my monthly get-together at the Ditty Bag in Mystic to discuss legislative topics, questions you may have about a bill, or issues you would like to see addressed in the 41st district.

I hope you're all doing well. October is a month in which we raise awareness on several important topics including breast cancer, domestic violence, and disability employment.

Fall has finally arrived and that usually means new laws go into effect shortly afterward. I have included below some of the new laws that will begin on Monday, October 1st, and have provided a link to all of them, too.
