We're going to have some great weather over the next couple of days. As you know, the 41st district is a wonderful place to be all the time - but around this time this year, it is second to none..

I want to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. I have included some notable statistics related to this holiday, as well as some helpful safety tips. Governor Lamont signed two pieces of environment-related legislation into law this week.

The cooler temperatures have provided some much-needed relief, but don't get too comfortable. After all, it is Connecticut, and it's summertime. It gets hot here. With the arrival of summer comes new laws.

Our streak of double-digit weekend weather is set to come to an end in a big way. Beginning Sunday at noon, an Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will go into effect at least through Wednesday!

Thursday, June 19th is Juneteenth!

Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery in our country.

The 2025 Legislative Session is over, but there is still so much work to be done for our community.

Another legislative session is in the books. This year, I was proud to champion and pass bills protecting our environment, supporting special education, expanding affordable housing, and so much more. I cannot thank you all enough for picking me to represent the 41st district. It is an honor to be serving our state in Hartford and doing everything I can to build stronger communities for all of us.
