Tree Planting to Commemorate Parish Anniversary
August 6, 2024I am proud to have donated a red maple tree to mark the 100th anniversary of the Holy Name of Jesus Parish, which has always welcomed families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Last year's anniversary Masses included scripture readings and music in Spanish, Vietnamese, Slovak, and Creole. As your State Representative, I am proud to support a parish that has been a cornerstone of worship and community for so many.
The parish’s recent capital campaign, supported generously by parishioners, has enabled a significant restoration of the church's interior. This effort ensures that it will continue to serve as a beacon of faith and community for the next 100 years.
