Textile Recycling Bins
I am very happy to pass along the news that the Town of Stratford and Stratford school system are partnering with Bay State Textiles to place textile recycling bins at schools around town. Two of these bins will also be placed at the Watson Boulevard transfer station.
This is a great way to encourage recycling (particularly as we celebrated Earth Day last week). In addition, taking textiles out of the waste stream will save Stratford taxpayers money by lowering garbage disposal fees.
