Dear Friends,

I'm hoping you can join us at the front entrance of Carmen Arace Middle School, 390 Park Avenue in Bloomfield on Thursday at 5:30 P.M. to celebrate the life of Mr. Marcus Jennings, a friend, teacher, mentor and colleague of mine. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Jennings was one of the most intelligent, caring, powerful, motivating and courageous educators we have had the pleasure to know. He taught 7th an 8th grade Social Studies here at CAMS since 2012. His first teaching job was at Simpson-Waverly Classical Magnet School in Hartford, where he taught 4th grade for the 2005-06 school year.

Mr. Jennings was affectionately called the "child whisperer" by his colleagues, because he was able to reach every child in the building. He left an unforgettable impression on everyone he met. We are honored to have been his colleague.
