With the critical Nov. 3, 2020 general election right around the corner I wanted to share an email I received from Voter Choice Connecticut that includes pertinent information on voting by absentee ballot, an approved option for all registered Connecticut voters as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 9 a.m. concerning the special contract between Yankee Gas and NTE, the developer of the Killingly gas plant.

Connecticut's eviction moratorium has been extended until October 1, 2020. While renters are shielded from eviction, many continue to struggle with paying their rent.
