As another year comes to a close, I would like to wish you and your family a happy holiday season. I am thankful that I am able to represent our community and I can't wait to see what we accomplish in the new year.

I was pleased to join the Caleb Group and Compass Working Capital to celebrate 20 people and their families who completed the 5-year FSS program. A ceremony and dinner was held Thursday, Dec. 5 at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Monday was Veterans Day, when we honor and remember the sacrifices veterans made protecting our freedoms and way of life. Their service to our state and country is deeply appreciated.
