This week I joined Rep. Gillian Gilchrest, Sen. Gary Winfield, and over a dozen of my House colleagues with over 100 community members from the Connecticut For All Coalition at a press conference in support of the 2025 Equity Agenda.

I was among 17 legislators who attended a press conference on the state's housing crisis hosted by my colleague Eleni Kavros DeGraw, chair of the Planning & Development Committee, and housing advocates.

I was sworn in on Wednesday to serve my fourth term representing the 135th District at the state Capitol. I have never been more excited and honored to represent the residents of Easton, Weston and Redding.

I am so pleased so many of you have already reached out and have been meeting with me to propose legislation that I am submitting per your suggestions for the 2025 session, which begins Wednesday.

A number of new laws that were passed during the 2024 legislative session will go into effect Wednesday, January 1.

On Monday, I joined members of our immigrant, refugee, advocate, and legal communities, in addition to local leaders at the State Capitol to rally to protect immigrants and immigrant families here in Connecticut.

The state recently allocated $30 million toward much-needed infrastructure repairs and improvements to our state parks and forests.
