It's been a long time coming, and we're finally seeing our hard work pay off. This week, the State of Connecticut officially conveyed the Ella T. Grasso property to the Town of Stratford. 

I've been proudly working toward this end for nearly eight years. Working with Mayor Hoydick and the Attorney General’s Office, we brought this process to a successful fruition. This milestone reflects collaboration and will provide lasting benefits for the Stratford community.

With the property officially in the hands of the town, the plans for the land include 100 units of senior housing managed by the Stratford Housing Authority. SHA will lead the development efforts, focusing on high-quality, affordable housing that reflects both community priorities and legislative intent.

 I'll share more information as it becomes available and plans are finalized.
