I am happy to announce that $3 million is coming to fund the ongoing remediation efforts at the Raymark Superfund site. This investment is part of a larger commitment to ensuring the health and safety of the community by addressing hazardous waste disposal sites. These efforts are instrumental in mitigating the long-standing environmental impacts on Stratford and ensuring a cleaner, safer environment for everyone.

I am deeply grateful to Governor Ned Lamont, the State Bond Commission, and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) for their support and collaboration on this critical project.
