HB 7013 - AN ACT CONCERNING ENHANCEMENTS TO THE LOCAL FOOD FOR SCHOOLS INCENTIVE PROGRAM AND THE CT GROWN FOR CT KIDS GRANT PROGRAM will have a public hearing in the Education committee this Wednesday. This bill, which I proposed, would make the Department of Education the lead agency responsible for administering the local food for schools incentive program, expand eligibility in this program to include providers of child care services, and to provide support and funding to the CT Grown for CT Kids Grant Program.
