The Stamford Delegation Celebrate State Funding for Stamford and Norwalk High Schools
May 11, 2022Stamford will receive state funding toward the new $257.9 million Westhill High School project. The budget increased the state reimbursement for the project from 20% to 80% which will increase state funding for Stamford from $51.6 million to $206.4 million.
House Passes Legislation Protecting and Expanding Access to Reproductive Healthcare
April 19, 2022As we witness anti-abortion laws being enacted across the country and anticipate the overturn of Roe v. Wade, expanding access and protecting reproductive rights in Connecticut has never been more important.
The landmark decision of Roe v. Wade, which upholds a women’s right to choose, is codified into our state law. Abortion-related care will remain legal here, but that is unfortunately not the case for many states across the country.

I hope you and your family have been well. Last week was a busy week for me with public hearings wrapping up and a long session Wednesday where several bills were voted on. I also took some time to meet with leaders in Stamford on what I can do at the legislature to help build the community.
