Generic Drug forum in Norwalk
Costs for generic drugs have been going up recently causing a financial hardship and health risk for many people. As the Vice Chair of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee, I have been working on legislation to address this issue. On Tuesday, December 17, I will co-host a generic drug forum with my area colleagues, our Attorney General and others.
Please join me at Norwalk Senior Center, located 11 Allen Rd in Norwalk on Tuesday, December 17th, from 10AM to 11AM. We will hold a round table discussion on what we are doing at the state level to address these skyrocketing costs. I will be joined by Attorney General William Tong, Rep. Chris Perone, Rep. Travis Simms, Rep. Gail Lavielle, Rep. Terrie Wood and Senator Bob Duff.
A panel of experts will also be on hand. This is an important issue that needs to be addressed and your input is welcome.
